General Information

 

Returns Policy

It's important to us that you are happy with your purchase.   If you feel that your goods are not as we described them on our website or you think they are not fit for the purpose for which they were sold, then we accept them back for a refund or exchange within 7 days of receipt.  The returned goods must be in exactly the same condition as we sent them to you, for instance they must be unopened, un-used, undamaged and with any seals or shrink wrap still intact.  Because we go to great pains to ensure our photography  and descriptions of products are completely accurate, we regret we do not refund postage costs on returns.  We cannot accept liability for goods that are returned to us damaged or are lost in the post, so we recommend you use a “signed for” service when sending products back for proof of delivery.

If for any reason, your purchase arrives damaged, we will make every effort to ensure the situation is rectified so that you are happy with your purchase. If an item is damaged, please notify us within 7 days or use the contact us form. We will replace it or refund the cost of the goods in full within 30 days.

Cancellation Policy

Should you place an order in error or decide you want to cancel in advance of dispatch please contact us by email call us on 020 8216 9999 international +44 20 8216 9999 as soon as possible stating your name address and what products you would like to cancel.




Privacy Policy

Your privacy is very important to us so here's what we do to protect it:

1.    We keep your personal details confidential and NEVER share your details with any third party so you will never get spam as a result of the information you provide us.

2.    We collect only the information we need for processing orders and we don't use it for anything else unless you say we can.

3.    We have an opt-in policy for emails and news letters etc.

4.    Your data is secured by various encryption technologies both during transmission over the Internet, but also when it is stored.

 

Security Policy

Security is everyone’s concern when it comes to the internet. Listed below are a few of the things we do to ensure that your data is kept safe during transactions.

1.    We keep to an absolute minimum any information we collect and only ever use it for the purpose for which it was collected - usually order fulfillment.

2.    All transactions which contain sensitive information such as Address and Credit Card information take place over a highly encrypted secure link (so it is not readable even while it is being sent).

3.    Once data arrives on our site all sensitive information is kept highly encrypted for storage. So even if someone did manage to access our databases, there is nothing in them which could be read.

4.    Our policy is not to store credit card information and we very rarely need to. Normally, details are captured from you over a high security link, passed straight through to the Payment Authorisation Service and then deleted without anyone in our organisation (or anywhere else) ever seeing them. Very occasionally, if the banking network becomes unavailable, or for some reason it is not possible to process a payment automatically, then our system holds your details in a highly encrypted form until we can process the payment manually (just as we would need to in a telephone order for example). As soon as the transaction is complete, the details are immediately and automatically deleted. We use the same levels of encryption the banks use so your information is safe for the very short time we have it.

5.    During the banking authorisation transaction, all communication takes place over high security links. We have gone to a great deal of trouble to ensure your information is safe at every stage of the process so you can have an enjoyable and trouble free shopping experience with us. All data encryption uses a minimum of 128 bit security keys.

6.    Your credit card is billed by Eastgate Resource Ltd which will show on your statements.

7.    We try very hard to ensure the site is free from errors and that facilities which require it (such as the purchasing process), are as secure as we can possibly make them.


The site is constantly monitored by our technical staff and also uses advanced instrumentation software to monitor for errors and track unusual or suspicious activity. When such activity is detected, the systems logs details which can be used later to track down the perpetrators.


Despite our best endeavours we can never give a cast iron guarantee that it will always behave as perfectly as we intended it to and occasionally something may go awry, so, if you wish to use this site you must agree that you do so completely at your own risk - otherwise you must leave immediately.

PLEASE NOTE - Probably the most vulnerable point in the whole process is your own computer so we would always advise that you have a good quality anti-virus package installed on your machine, keep it up to date with the latest virus signatures and regularly scan your computer for infections.

VAT

All prices shown are inclusive of Value Added Tax (VAT) where it is applicable.  The VAT is added at the governing rate applicable at the time of purchase (currently 17.5% and rising to 20% in 2011).

 

General Disclaimer

We offer no warranties or guarantees with regard to the therapeutic, metaphysical or magical properties of any product we sell. As far as we are aware, there is no formal scientific proof to substantiate that crystals, talisman, amulets, charms, magical spells, Tarot cards, Runes or any other artefact  can cure or alleviate any particular medical condition, accurately predict future events or have any general affect on your life beneficial or otherwise and we therefore make no such claims.


Whereas we have given detailed information on how to connect with the products we sell, you must decide for yourself whether you believe that the esoteric properties or capabilities of any of our products could help you and where necessary, you must carry out your own research to collect any evidence you might require.


IF YOU HAVE A MEDICAL PROBLEM you should always seek professional medical advice. Nothing on this site should be considered as a substitute for doing that.


This site is hosted in the UK and complies with and is subject to English law.  By using this website you are agreeing that your use shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with English law and you irrevocably agree that the courts of England shall, subject to the paragraph below, have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute which may arise out of, under or in connection with these terms.


For our exclusive benefit, we shall retain the right to bring proceedings as to the substance of the matter in the courts of your country of residence, or where these terms are entered into in the course of your trade or profession, the country of your principal place of business.

Limit of Liability

Although the products sold on this website would be considered harmless by most people, we have no control over what you do with them or how you use them once you receive them. We therefore hereby specifically disclaim all liability for any loss, damage, injury or other negative consequence in whatever form, howsoever caused, which arises from the use (or indirect use) of any product advertised on, or supplied via the website. Furthermore, no guarantee can be, nor is given, with regard to any spiritual or metaphysical qualities for any of the products we supply.

This disclaimer applies without exception to all of the following: witchesmoon.co.uk , its parent company,(the Vendor),  their respective Employees, Directors, Agents and Advisors. Under no circumstances will the vendor or any of its Representatives Employees, Directors, Agents or Advisors, be liable for anything more than the cost of the items purchased. It is the purchaser’s sole responsibility to use the products safely, sensibly and as they judge appropriate for their particular circumstances. You are also hereby advised to take full account of any warnings or guidance on usage which is given either on the website or in any manufacturers instructions supplied with your purchase.

While we aim to select and supply good quality products, we offer no warranty of fitness for a particular purpose or durability. It is the customer’s sole responsibility to determine if a product will satisfy their particular needs.

 

Delivery Services

Once the Order is in the postal system we lose control of it. Many Orders are sent using a receipted delivery system - so you need to sign for them. If you order is large or heavy it will normally be sent by Carrier in which case the shipment is often track-able online.  Delivery for orders received before midday, we always do our best to ship the same day, however, that is not always physically possible.  Shipping estimates are based on when your order is dispatched, not when it was received by us.

LATE DELIVERY?

It's inevitable that things will occasionally go awry but even when this happens, the package usually turns up after a few days.


Here is what you should do:

1.    Make sure your order has actually been despatched. You will receive a despatch confirmation on the day it is sent.

2.    Be aware that although the Royal Mail aims to deliver 1st Class mail the next working day, this will depend on where you are. They don't consider a package late until 7 days have passed and do not consider a package lost until 15 days have elapsed. Unfortunately we can't do anything about a late order until after those 15 days have passed.

3.    Some packages will not fit through a standard letter box or need to be signed for, if no-one is in at the time, the delivery agent will usually put a card through the door telling you what you need to do in order to get your package.

4.    If your package is 3 or 4 days late, it is always worth contacting your local Mail Sorting office to see if they are holding a package for you (just in case you were out when delivery was attempted - you'd be surprised how often that is the case).
